The Razzies Awarded

While we’re thinking of awards shows, let us not forget the Anti-Oscars. The Razzies were handed out on Saturday and Madonna took top honors for both worst actress (tied with Britney Spears) and worst Supporting Actress. SWEPT AWAY had a good showing. Hit the link for a full list.

    Tis all in good fun, but putting Star Wars in the win for worst screenplay??????? It wasn’t that bad, I heard many more complaints about Episode 1 three years ago. Oh well. I’m glad Britney and Madonna got their due. :)

    Hmmmm…..I did think the love “confession” scene between Amidala and Anakin was beyond painful to watch in terms of stilted, forced dialogue. :)
