I’m sick of ‘em

I hate the whole “It” trend in Hollywood. How is it that certain people end up in a half dozen movies a year? Why does every director in the world want to work with these people out of nowhere, and how do these people find the time to be in multiple movies at the same time?

Does Ashton Kutcher really have any talent? I’m sick to death of hearing about him, and then seeing his name connected to every other movie script.

Rosario Dawson might be a great actress — I don’t know — but I’m sick of hearing her name being cast in every other film, also. She’s now being looked at for Oliver Stone’s “Alexander.”

I’m also not a Jack Black fan. Don’t know why his moronic college frat boy antics get him to be the Go To Guy for comedy, but at least he’s not in that many movies a year.

I guess I should blame this all on MTV.

I like Jack Black well enough (he’s a little too everywhere these days, but was good in “High Fidelity,” and I really dig Tenacious D), but Ashton Kutcher is such a tool. I read an article recently where the author referred to him and Sean Combs as “the new Rat Pack.” That made me want to throw things at the head of whoever wrote such tripe.

For the record: Jack Black has never been in the same neighborhood as funny.

I think that referring to Aston and Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, whatever as the “new rat-pack” is an insult, slap in the face to the original Rat Pack. Hell, those two are not even worthy of the “brat-pack”. How about those two starting up the “Who cares Pack.”

Jack Black was good in High Fidelity. Behind that… who cares?

I think it’s good Rosario Dawson is getting work, It only upsets me that she gets put in not so great movies that don’t showcase her talent
