Red Dwarf: The Movie

Wow, it sounds like a RED DWARF movie is really going to happen. They’re looking into space in Australia for it right now. Filming is set to begin in September.

    Note for anyone who loves the show: there are four Red Dwarf novels written by the creators, and they are terrific. Very Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Two of them are probably at your local bookstore, and there are two more only out in England (last I checked). All four are VERY much worth your time and money. Feel free to email me if anybody wants a description or anything. I can’t recommend them enough.

    I just got my hands on the US Red Dwarf pilot, and it’s nowhere near as awful as I thought it would be. Aside from some jokes that don’t “translate” well, it’s actually pretty funny, and most of the changes are good. I’m talkign about the one with the male Cat, opposed to the female cat, which screws up the whole idea of the show.
