I watched five minutes of the new REAL WORLD series on MTV last night.

I wasn’t looking at the cute blonde or the other blonde with the fake knockers that point out three feet in front of her.

Oh, no. I’m looking at the city. At the tourist stops. At the marina. The townhouses under construction.

And I’m thinking — San Diego Comic Con is still six months away.

I’m sure the convention center has shown up already, but the camera cuts are so quick that it’s tough to get your bearings.

I miss that place. It stinks that I only get about five days a year of that wonderment and sensory overload.
