Helpful Hint

If you want to break into somebody’s computer at work and don’t know their password, go with a child’s first name.

I hear way too much stuff for my own good in this cube.

(If your mark doesn’t have children, go with their birthdate or “1234.” You may think the latter is a gag from SPACEBALLS, but we used it on someone’s voice mail in college on a lark and it worked.)

Well, I did break with convention and come up with actual passwords (usually short phrases) but I sort of defeated myself in that I basically use two for everything. Once you get those, you’ve got me.

It’s 12345 actually ;) And I got the same combination on my luggage.

Guessing XP passwords is so Passe. I have a bootable CD is use at work that can tell you the passwords on user accounts or blank them out.

but seriously, a combination of words not found in the dictionary and numbers is a good way to go.
