Ladies and Gentlemen, the cast of “Serenity”

Yesterday, on the last day of the San Diego Comicon, Joss Whedon gave a “Serenity” presentation. It was pretty damned cool to see the special trailer they made up specially for comicon based on what footage was available at the time.

It was even cooler when Whedon introduced the entire cast of the show:

Loads of fun was had by all.

Update: More pictures and audio from the panel can be found here.

Count me as one of the legions of fans who loved Firefly and can’t wait for the movie next year. Just for clarification purposes, is the trailer that they showed yesterday going to be release to the public or really just for San Diego attendees consumption?

This, I do not know. I know Joss said that the trailer was put together by the marketing people specifically for Comicon. Whether that means “exclusively” for comicon, I do not know.

Check the movie website, I suppose.

It is a pretty cool little trailer, though. Great line of Zoe dialogue in there. Classic Whedon.

I actually did get most of the panel recorded on my audio recorder, but it’s not good enough to bother converting it to MP3 for posting. Besides, someone else has already done it:

There’s a great Cordelia gag near the end that was strictly a visual, though.
