When LOST fandom goes too far

When LOST fandom goes too far and gets too obsessive, you wind up with a web page like this.

Admittedly, some of it is pretty neat. It shows that the writers/directors have thought about things and planned things out. Some of it is just reaching.

In any case, who wants to play 4 8 15 16 23 42 in the lottery tonight?

Quite a lot of it seems like reaching to me. Especially with the low numbers — really, is it unexpected that 4 would come up fairly often? But I suspect a lot of it is purposeful. “Alias” uses the “47″ meme all the time, after all. (Big kudos to them!)

And yeah, I heard there was a big surge of people playing The Numbers in lotteries after that episode. They didn’t win.

My favorite is Jack pounding Charlie on the chest 27 times.
