<description>"The second premiere is the second season of Emmy Award-winning BOSTON LEGAL. This is the best legal drama I’ve had the pleasure to watch in – well, possibly ever. William Shatner and James Spader are hilarious. Candace Bergen was inspired casting with a great character to play."

If you've never seen it, catch the final season of The Practice in reruns (FX reruns the show early in the day). It's the season where James Spader joins the show (along with Rhona Mitra) and is both the destruction of the titular practice and the first storyline at Crane, Poole and Schmidt. It's interesting how different the color scheme once was (all blues!) and the slightly different cast. Rebecca DeMornay was the big lawyer when Spader first joined the practice, and his relationship with Lake Bell (now on Surface) finally is explained. When and if they release Boston Legal on DVD, they really ought to release the final seasn as The Practice as "Boston Legal, Season Zero" (simultaneously labeled as the Practice too, of course).

"COMMANDER IN CHIEF also premieres on ABC tonight at 9, but I don’t have any interest in it. Yes, part of that is politics, which is why I won’t be discussing it any further here."

You might be surprised. Apparently they're going to be taking a hatchet to the Democrats in the first few weeks. We'll see whether or not that's true.</description>
