Monday Link Dump

* Funniest Billy Joel headline yet.

* Walt Mossberg explains why you should use a Mac.

* The Nintendo DS finally has an application that makes valid use of its two screens: Intellivision emulation. Scroll down a page or two and see how the DS uses its secondary screen to emulate the inlays the Intellivision controller had for each game. Perfect!

* Forget office bingo for now and use something from this list of office slang at work today. Begin with “Tourists - Those who take training classes just to take a vacation from their jobs. “There were only three serious students in the class; the rest were just tourists.”"

* They’re still trying to figure out how to measure podcast listeners and accurately report listenership to advertisers.

Intellivision….yes! Just one more reason to buy a DS (again)!

OK, I loved the office slang, lord knows now I have terms to go along with stuff that happens, like having my cell phone on vibrate go off and pop my eyes from my skull. :)

They day they can start including paid ads in podcasts is (I know, counter-intuitive) a GREAT day for consumers, because all the commercial stations holding off on podcasting will do so in a deluge, since even the most popular podcast’s bandwidth is vastly cheaper than paying for a transmitter and the accompanying support staff.

I want my Kevin & Bean Show from KROQ as a podcast, since I’m too far away to get it from LA on my clock radio (or car radio, for that matter).
