NBC’s facilities are massive. The entire IBC building will become a convention center after the Olympics. NBC had to build out their own studios.. walls, doors, power, lighting etc. Then it all get’s torn down after the show!
Lots of interesting info behind the scenes at the Olympics, including how the HD feed is handled redundantly with up-conversion and down-conversion possibilities. Includes pics of the studios, the editing rooms, the control centers, the facility’s floor plan, and more.
