Forget the glasses–3D [tag]monitor[/tag]s ready now | CNET News.com
Several display companies are concocting, and in some cases already selling, monitors and other components that provide a simulated [tag]3D[/tag] viewing experience. Many of these new products don’t require glasses.
Stand in front of a [tag]Philips[/tag] 3D monitor, and animated characters throw rose petals or dice at you; the first time you see it, you startle and jolt upward slightly. A film trailer shown on the monitors seems to have more depth than a standard 2D movie.
Philips has a 42 incher on sale today — for just $12,000. Maybe I should start a tip jar here. =)

Those monitors look very cool. If I start saving now, I can probably get one by 2009. What’s really cool for a Friday distraction is the word game at that link. If you can ignore the annoying music in the background, you can kill thirty minutes before you blink.

I hate you now, Overworm. I barely scraped past 5000 on my first try. I need to double that, now that I know the rules better and whatnot. Hmmm…
