		<description>I realize that there are, indeed, Crankier Old Men Of The Internet than me, Tom. And yours was the first name that came to mind when I wrote this thing up. 

But I still remember &quot;Black September&quot; as a topic of conversation as late as 1997 or so.  Of course, I was part of Black September 1994, so perhaps I&#039;m too close to the matter.

For my next look back, I&#039;ll talk about search engines, and the Alta Vista heyday. ;-)</description>
