Monday Link Dump

* The original [tag]Penn Station[/tag] in NYC was a thing of beauty. It was torn down to make way for Madison Square Garden, but just take a look at the pictures on this web site to see what we’re missing.

* [tag]ASCII Art[/tag] from 1939. Remember typewriters?

* If you’re using a [tag]Mac[/tag], this little tool will dim the background of everything but the application you’re working on. Handy.

* Is memorizing all 50 state capitals too much for you? Then you’ll love this plan to redraw the lines and simplify America down to 38 states!

* [tag]E3[/tag] to shrink down/disappear. I guess they don’t want those massive lines for Nintendo Wii again next year. ;-) And I wish the San Diego Comic-Con would do the same thing. . .

* GADSBY is a 50,000 word story. There’s one little thing that’s interesting about it: It doesn’t use the letter ‘e’ at all. Crazy!

    Well, there go my dreams of one day making it to E3.

    Those are some great pictures of the original Penn Station. I can stare at great architecture forever.

    E3 blows. I worked it for several years, and it was always hellish, and I was at a popular booth. I can only imagine the suck for a company that just poured down its money down the drain for almost no return on investment.
