Hell’s Kitchen 2 Winner
And the show’s a wrap. We have a winner. And she was very giddy about the whole thing.
Spoilers after the break:
Virginia’s people management skills need work. Why she picked the team that she picked is beyond me. I didn’t think Garret would go last, but Heather got lucky on that. She didn’t get stuck with Tom, remarkably.
Heather still has some quality control issues to work out, but she’s not that far off. She just has to learn to stop second-guessing herself and to be less forgiving. She’ll get there.
So congrats to the local girl done good, Heather, who cried her way through two hours of cooking and hugging her “We’re Not A Lesbian Couple” friend, Rachel.

I see I wasn’t the only one who caught her whispered comment regarding Vegas…anyways, I’m very happy Heather won. It was pretty much over when Sweaty Tom cut himself. I’m really surprised K-Grease went out like a punk with his sad blackmail attempt, although with his outburst last week, I shouldn’t be.

HAHA. “We’re Not A Lesbian Couple”…Phew…I thought my friend and I were the only ones who thought there might be a little homoeroticism there.
Virginia’s team picking skills are beyond my comprehension. And what made it worse was that she straight out told them she picked the worst ones..(???) Why???
But in the end it didn’t matter…Makes me wanna go to Vegas and have some of that Chilean Sea Bass. I’ve never had it before but what’s the big deal about it? Seems like it’s always on a fancy menu somewhere.

She said she picked the two weaker ones so that, if she had an excellent service, it would seem like she had the more difficult job. As in, completing service with Tom and Giacomo is a more impressive feat than doing it with Sara and Rachel.
Actually not a horrible strategy, and it may have worked if she had been able to control them better and/or if they were slightly more competent. Really, though, can anyone imagine either of these two (or any of the original contestants, for that matter) running their own kitchen in a multi-million dollar restaurant?
