Local ‘Idol’ entry Gordon assaulted
Local “American Idol” contestant Mikalah Gordon is “lucky she’s alive” after being assaulted during a robbery at gunpoint at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, her mother said. Gordon, 18, was taking a break from recording music when a man pointing a gun approached her and a male friend, Gordon’s mother, Victoria Cavaricci, said Wednesday. Three other men came up, and Gordon was ordered to lie on her back on the sidewalk.
Part of me wants to ask Mom why her 18 year old daughter is on the streets of Las Vegas at 3:30 in the morning. That’s a heck of a recording studio that stays open all night to get the job done. After all, the assault happened on a break from the recording, not at the end of it.

Augie, Alot of recording studios offer cut rate fees in the middle of the night to independent recording artists. Middle of the day rates sometimes are 4 times higher. ANd since I doubt the “lil nanny” is signed to a major label that is why she is recording in the middle of the night.

She must have kept her mouth shut during the assault, because if she’d started that Streisand/Drescher schtick, they would have iced her for sure. I would have, anyway.

This really doesn’t surprise me, especially after somebody walked into a recording studio and shot and killed JMJ.
