Whose Line DVD News

Whose Line Is It Anyway UK - Josie and TonyThe original British edition of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? is coming to DVD. See what fun the show was with its original games and rotating cast. See Clive Anderson smirk! See John Sessions try to take everything over! See Tony Slattery say a double entendre or ten! See Mike McShane attempt to breathe despite his enormous girth! See Jonathan Pryce do comedy! See Josie Lawrence take the role of every female character the show needed!

Well, it’s only the first two seasons on DVD, but most of that should be on there.

Amazon has a link for it now, but no cover art yet.

Bah, I want more of the American show.

… doesn’t mean I won’t snap this up, though (seriously, mention Ryan Stiles and I’m there).

  2. Augie De Blieck Jr. Says:

I don’t think Ryan Stiles appeared until after season two, but I might be wrong. I just remember the mullet and the black and white checked shirt.

    I’m such a geek sometimes.

I’m a big Stephen Frost fan from a little later on, though.

  3. Phil Says:

Oh, man, I remember watching this on Comedy Central during college. Some fantastic stuff on it. I may have to pick this up.

Doesn’t BBC America show episodes of this now?

  4. Augie De Blieck Jr. Says:

When my cable provider finally provided Comedy Central, this was the second thing I saw. (The first was some old ShowTime stand-up special.) I fell in love immediately and couldn’t get enough. Have most of them on VHS here and here. I like the DVD idea better, though.

    Sadly, I don’t get BBC America. =(
