- You know how one out of every five miles of interstate highway is designed to be a landing strip? It’s not true. Too bad, it was a great story.
- Yes, New York City really is that dirty.
- Expounding on the positive design element of white space.
- Randy Jackson thinks the GREASE reality show isn’t original. Who could blame him?
- Entertainment Weekly really likes the new season of 24. (The article is supposed to be spoiler free, but I didn’t read much further past the first couple of paragraphs. Enter at your own risk.)
- Jewel nearly landed on The Real World back in the day.
- Shatner and Nimoy returning to STAR TREK? J.J. Abrams is writing them in.
- Dracula’s castle is up for sale. It’ll run you close to $80 million, though.
- Guitar Hero II is coming to the XBox 360 in March. Yes, it’ll have some new songs, too.
- A Wiimote charging station is being announced at CES, it looks like. I’ve played the Wii nearly every day for the last month and a half and have only thrown out one pair of batteries so far. To be fair, the current pair aren’t going to last too much longer. Still, no batteries is always a good thing.
- Upcoming Nintendo games box art. Includes Wii Play and DS Diddy Kong Racing.

Ha! I did not. I realize that King writes for EW — and have linked to him before — but I missed the byline on that one. Cool.
