OK, this is bizarre, but it's working for me now, too, before I re-downloaded or re-installed it.

Hunh. It didn't work on Friday when I attempted it, but it works now. Well, then, problem solved. Thanks, Mark!

Augie, that extension you pointed to as broken works for me in version 2 (XP version)

Before I installed it I downloaded the xpi, opened it in winrar, then edited the install.rdf file.

This has a max version at 9999 or something.

I changed it to 2.5, then resaved it in the archive, and ran the xpi to install the extension.

Now I when I highlight a passagw, and right click I get a word count option, which seems to work.
