I heard rumors of Michael Jackson…but I’m not sure if that’s confirmed or not. I saw it one of those “Coming up in the next hour” blurbs on the news.

Given the timing, I think there’s something that’s going to happen with the voting. Inside of two weeks is too soon for the round of 12. I wonder if the 24 won’t be whittled down to MORE than 12 this time, or if the judges are going to have the final say over America’s vote for the first couple of weeks.

“It does include ‘American Idol,’ and it does include America.”
Sounds to me like the contest to write the winner’s single. They haven’t mentioned that on the show yet, right?
