24 Season Six - 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The sun will soon be setting, but Jack Bauer can outrace the moonlight. Fear not. He is, after all, half vampire. (See right.)
And that was one cool tease at the end. It would be the biggest spoiler of them all, so I’m not going to specify it here, but I can’t wait to see what happens next.
It really is amazing how much stuff they can pack into an hour these days. The first season looks lethargic and lame by comparison. And it’s nice that they’ve changed things up a bit this season by focusing a little more on Jack’s personal/family mission, rather than just the Big Overall Threat. Nice mix.
Discuss it all here, but don’t talk about the coming attractions at the end of the episode.

I’m now 2 weeks behind. I really do need to try and get caught up this week.

I knew that he was going to return this season, so right before they showed who Jack was calling, I figured it was going to be him.
Man, Jack’s dad is quite the jerk, isn’t he? Kudos to James Cromwell for making Phillip despicable.
And… can we get more of Rena Sofer, please? I’ve never been so unhappy to see someone put on a bomb vest.

James Cromwell is so unbelievably GREAT in his role this season. If he doesn’t get an Emmy nod *at the very least* for his performance, I’m storming Hollywood and will overrun them with a barrage of personal attacks that will demoralize their self-esteem. I might even use a RED PEN! Be warned…

Trip - Hurry up and come back to us!
Matthew - While I tend to agree with you, I don’t think there’s much of a chance of it happening. When THE SHIELD can’t get nominated for obvious roles, then what chance has 24? Oh, wait, it’s on prime time network TV. Nevermind, it stands a chance. We’ll see. Plus, he’s a movie guy “slumming it” in TV. The Emmys people have to love that.
Phil - Someday, some manufacturer is going to make the bulletproof bra, and it’s going to reinvent the action movie. Ticket sales will go through the roof.

Watched everything last night. Good stuff. How did Miles (is that Chloe’s ex-husband’s name) come back to work from getting a drill bit in the shoulder so quickly? Also, I’ll be the first to admit that I had NO IDEA who was going to be the big reveal at the end of this week’s episode. Watching Jack with his Dad pointing a gun to the back of his head, I was wondering if he didn’t call Chase (yeah, I know that thought is out there!) off screen to act as his back-up. Didn’t he do something like that a couple of seasons ago with Tony Almaeda?
