Yes, and it’s awesome. I’ve been spinning my review copy pretty regularly for a week now.

The only Fountains of Wayne I’ve heard was, of course, “Stacy’s Mom”. I keep meaning to pick up their album but I never do. I should listen to the iTunes previews.

Argh…someone had to remind me of that darn “Stacy’s Mom” song. My wife’s name is Staci and I can’t hear that song without thinking of my mother in law….ugh! Not pleasant thoughts at all!

Noel – I’m jealous! But I’ll last. It’s only a month or so away. Maybe I should go listen to the last album again to sate my appetite for now.
Phil – There’s three albums in total, as I recall, plus the B-Sides/Compilations disc which has some pretty great stuff on it like their cover of “Hit Me Baby (One More Time)” and the catchy “I Want An Alien For Christmas.” Off the top of my head right now, I don’t know if there’s any one that would be a better introduction than any of the others. So go with “Interstate Highway,” and at least you’ll get “Stacy’s Mom” on it.
