The judges provided those people no worries about their favorite -- lulling them into a false sense of complacency. On the other hand, it would be interesting to see Sanjaya win, just for the massive changes we'd see the producers put into place next season to ensure it never happens again. That said, I think this is the week coming up where Sanjaya might surprise us all and actually loosen up on stage and sing well. Call me crazy. Josh — Eh, I think Ryan just got Phil’s girly last name stuck in his head. I think the judges were purposefully nice to Sanjaya this week to stave off the people who vote to save contestants. The judges provided those people no worries about their favorite — lulling them into a false sense of complacency.

On the other hand, it would be interesting to see Sanjaya win, just for the massive changes we’d see the producers put into place next season to ensure it never happens again.

I really liked the guy, but he just couldn't get it done on stage. I am really curious how far Sanjaya will really go before the judges just totally rip him a new one.
