Can you imagine the watercooler buzz you’d have scored if Kiki had rescued Bette midway through her abysmal, convulsive ‘’Wind Beneath My Wings'’? And for cryin’ out loud, Tony Bennett’s ‘’For Once in My Life'’ was taken from his album Duets, and Melinda Doolittle’s Memphis audition number was…'’For Once in My Life.'’ Do I really have to do the math for you?

You are 100% right. The finale was as impersonal to the contestants as it was the viewers; kinda like the whole lame season. I didn’t care one bit to see the selected singers or the past Idols perform without the contestants (like last year). I don’t understand what they were thinking at all. Sanjaya got more time than the top 6…WHAT?!

It’s kind of disturbing that in the last hour - the focus is on EVERYBODY except the 2 Idol finalists.. and then to not bring the thing in on time ? Extremely unprofessional. It’s not as if it’s the Oscar’s or the Emmy’s - everything could have been easily pre-planned to the SECOND. There was plenty of fluff in the show to cut. I wouldn’t have cut the American Idol Beatle’s tribute, because I did think it befitted the “event” - but things like Tony Bennet’s song - or for that matter Gwen Stefani - who didn’t even bother showing up for the show - could have easily been cut.

this is the worst season of american idol I see why they messed up melinda and her vote she is a christian I voted for because she was the only singer there this year I ve heard she was going to be on channel 5 this morning I woke up on time not to miss her singing I felt evil all over that show this year I enjoy voted for JESUS people in anything whether they are good or bad at first I voted for jordin I wanted to help her grandmother and her prayer but my conscience was not at peace cause I could see that GOD gave the voice to melinda whether she is not a christian or not I have to do what is right this morning on the show I have heard that she is a christian that is the reason why she is not the idol you know I would rather be an idol before GOD than be an idol for mortal man like i voted for cyrrus in that dance show blindly but after I realized he does not make any effort to win I stopped and I think GOD’s people are connected he got boot out please stop trouble the fans mind when you do things like that you cause fans to be deppressed it is a show that keep people’smind working and you are looking to see the best singer win so you could continue watching to see what that precious voice became please do not do that next year I have no idol to watch this year my watching american idol came to an end the day melinda got booted out it was the end for me now I have to wait until melinda is invited to a tv show to watch she is the real american idol to me she was the only singer there like carrie like fantaisa like the handsome teddy bear and jelly these are real authentic american idol please do not messed up vote this year let the best singer win whether a christian or not
