60 mpg Accord will be interesting after we learn the road test employed. Japanese mpg tests are typically at very low speed/load conditions, a reason why Toyota hybrids were hugely over sold initially. Will the same apply to the Accord diesel? As an SAE engineer, I haved to be cautious about mpg claims. Bob Brooks
