Can someone with diabetes register a significant reading on a traffic stop breath test? My son (who doesn't drink) was pulled over by county sheriff road patrol officers who suspected he was drinking because it was 1 a.m. and he made a wide turn at an intersection. He blew a .028 on the PBT. That was two and half weeks ago.

Tonight he called me and said he has been feeling dizzy, is hungry all the time, has blurred vision in one eye, feels like he's hallucinating and seeing things that aren't really there, is paranoid about driving because his depth perception is off, is having trouble concentraing, and doesn't have any energy.

I told him to get to the doctor first thing in the morning.
