I post on Twitter too much to include all my witty bon mots here, but here’s another grab bag of my recent one-liners:
- Nellie McKay’s album is really short – she’s gone from two two-disc releases to a single 31 minute disc.
- Is there any shopping experience more fun than an Amazon.com spending spree?
- There are six other Wi Fi networks within range of this laptop right now with stronger connections than my own. UGH
- Grey’s Anatomy – I liked it better the first time I watched Scrubs.
- I prefer the music of his son to that of Bob Dylan.
- Time to do more ironing. Does it ever end?!?
- I wish more people would learn what “electrocute” really means and use it properly. Hint: the word KILL is in the definition.
- Losing eBay auctions is turning into a pretty bad habit.
- @coverville – the “zigahzigah” at the end of the cover story podcast was BRILLIANT
- It’s extremely frustrating to listen to podcasts when I’m the smartest one in the room.

Lately, I’ve been an Amazon.com whore. With the Canadian dollar FINALLY on par with the US after 30 years – I actually save $$$ buying stuff there – even compared to Amazon.ca, Not only is the suggested retail price LOWER in the US ( as much as 40% lower – which doesn’t make sense- especially considering a large majority of books are published here in Canada ) – but the discounts are better and wwe don’t have to pay TAX when ordering from Amazon.com ( we do on Amazon.ca ).
Recently bought DC’s ABSOLUTE NEW FRONTIER on Amazon.com. On the Canadian site – it was $ 100 marked down to $ 75 – with free shipping. After taxes it’d end up costing about $ 88. On Amazon.com – it was about $ 75 marked down to $ 47, no taxes, $ 4 shipping ( for a 6 lb book – incredible !!! ) – I ended up paying less than $ 52 in total.
