The Akismet comment spam filter that comes standard with the WordPress blogging engine these days recently blocked the 50,000th spam comment from this blog.

I installed it at the beginning of the year.

It’s time like this that I feel truly popular. If I can attract 50,000 spam comments, surely I’m attracting 50 readers. =)
