I'm not a big of the genre but the movie itself was pretty good. I watched it mainly because I heard pretty good things about it and I have liked most of what the cast has done in the past. Although predictable at points and a little heavy on the women's empowerment theme, Waitress is much better than the typical chick flick. How sad is it that I'm actually sorely tempted into falling into the "Look, its a super deluxe, end-all-be-all (for about a year anyway) edition" dvd gimmick to see more awesome Hot Fuzz material? It starred Guy Pearce, and got some pretty good reviews. I'm giving it a shot via Netflix. Waitress also co-stars Nathan Fillion.
