I really liked Blake Lewis on AI so I was excited about his CD. I bought it last week and have been very impressed. It has been getting decent reviews and apparently his label is very high on him. In fact, they are apparently having difficulty narrowing down which song will be his second single because they feel they are all so strong. Even more impressive is that Blake at least co-wrote every song on the album.

I would call the album a mix of 80s synth pop (Depeche Mode, Erasure), R&B, Latin, Reggae, Hip Hop and rock. And there is probably more in there as well. There is some beatboxing, but mainly in between songs. I would give ti a 4 out of 5.
