Known about the acapella piece for a bit. But it certainly is a classic piece of online video (right up there with matrix ping pong). I’m especially glad you brought it up because you spotted the Mortal Kombat reference. I’ve seen the piece several times but I could never figure out what game that bit was referencing (and I couldn’t make out what the shout in the background was).
