This is really the only one I need to spotlight, isn’t it? Looks really cool if you can stomach the hand-held camera throughout.
Tom Hanks went on Oprah’s show to promote this, so you know it’s a feel-good romantic comedy, right?!? ;-)
And that’s it. Sad, isn’t it?

I saw Cloverfield in the theater and really enjoyed it. I personally didn’t get sick, but I know my sister certainly felt a little queasy. I would imagine on a smaller screen this would be more manageable for those who may be sensitive. I have been debating buying this on DVD, but decided to wait for the eventual Blu-ray release.

Charlie Wilson’s war is brilliant. Fantastic dialogue/script, great acting, and largely a-political, which is refreshing.

There’s also Laura Linney and Philip Seymour Hoffman in The Savages.

Never watch Blair Witch Project for the herky jerky camera action and don’t anticipate watching Cloverfield because of that same reason. It’s a bummer though, I really was intrigued for the first few bits of viral marketing for the movie.

Cloverfield came to REAL close to making me hurl when I saw it in the theaters. Although I understand why the had the shaky-cam, it was a gimmick that wore thin real fast and got incredibly annoying even faster.
That having been said, it’s a GREAT monster flick. Loved it.
