As one who is very cynical of television networks, I’m inclined to believe this is a BRILLIANT idea.

DollhouseForums’ trailblazing leader Nathan posted the following as a call to arms: “After seeing some of my favorite television shows get canceled in the past — as well as the ’save this show’ campaigns that followed — I had the idea that a fan campaign BEFORE the show begins may be the best thing to do.”
Can’t say as I blame him. If the show stinks, though, he might look silly.

From the show description – I already know that this show will get an early death from FOX. Agents are programmed and re-programmed with different personalities for missions – and then when done – back to the “Dollhouse” where they are wiped clean like a chalkboard is – at the “dollhouse”. the “quick pitch” is that it’s ALIAS meets QUANTUM LEAP. Eliza Dushku – succesful supporting character actor on Buffy/Angel, successful lead on…… nothing – will be the big star of the show. It’ll be a mid-season replacement- serving as a lead-in Monday nights to “24″.
A hard to describe show, with a non-proven lead actress ( co-starring – one of those guys from Battlestar Galactica – no, not Appollo – no, that other guy-no, not him either – you know.. that guy ) and not being a good match for the show it’s leading into – show an early death for it. One wonders, why FOX didn’t take a chance and pair it with new show FRINGE – and have one solid night of sci-fi genre shows.

I really hope this show works. Eliza’s a great actress who, let’s face it, hasn’t had much luck since TRU CALLING was cancelled. Though, I admit I wouldn’t mind if this show was paired with FRINGE.
