Let’s get right to it:
- The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Hey, what’s good for “Lord of the Rings” must be good for all fantasy book series, right?
- Wanted
Based on the Mark Millar/JG Jones mini-series. Featuring a Magic Weaving Loom of Fate not seen in the comics. Sounds weird.
- The X-Files: I Want To Believe
It flopped at the box office, but still had to be better than the first movie, right?
- Saturday Night Live: The Complete Fourth Season
Just a guess, but I bet Steve Martin hosted an episode on there somewhere.
Re: X-Files, hmm…I’m not so sure that it was better than the first one. I watched until the end of the TV series but thought that the movie absolutely sucked. I think that I much preferred the Loom of Fate.
X-Files was ok for fans of the 1st season, where it was more “weirdness of the week” and very little mythology involved. While not great, was a great way of wrapping up 2 beloved characters, leaving them both to their respective journeys, as well as a shared one. A sequel to this, would be more what people expect I think.
