Where the American version tends to have Ramsay come accross a shithole, clean it up and then give them a signature dish - the BRitish one tries to explore what could make their concept great. On the American one, more than half the time - the place should have been condemned by the health board and the owners & staff are incompetent at best -- it's essentially played for laughs. In the UK version - we explore why it's not doing well and try to fix it up. Much different mindset. I don't see how anyone could eat at one of the places fixed in the USA version, after seeing how the same staff wallowed in filth mere months before.
