2009 Dog Toy
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Our little daughter has that second dog toy. Evil thing. It starts running through its vocabulary of expressions at the slightest touch, whether “On” switch is engaged or not. We finally had to banish it to a closet because it seemed to be activated by the slightest perturbation in Earth’s revolving.
That toy does have a hair trigger. Any time my daughter hugs it, three different sounds play in rapid succession. I laughed at your line about the earth’s rotation, because I’m there right now. I do know one trick, though: The one ear makes no sounds, so it’s safe to pick up by that ear.
