Leap Day Ignorance

If Twitter opened up its total stream to one and all, I’m almost afraid of what we’d learn. Since the default setting for Twitter is everything being public, we get to learn new things about segments of the population by what they tweet. Around Christmastime, someone compiled all the tweets from upset teenagers whose parents didn’t give them iPhones for the holiday. It was sad to see the entitled masses seething out loud.

Today, we learned just how dumb one segment of the population is. Most of their profile pics make them out to be teenagers. And many of the tweets are phrased very similarly, so perhaps this is some kind of prank. I hope it is. If it isn’t, it might be the scariest thing I’ve read this year:
